Holi is a joyful festival popularly known as the festival of colors and understandably, the Braj Bhoomi celebrates it in a unique way! Here, every town has its own distinct events to enjoy the festival! At Barsana, people celebrated the Laddu in Shriji Temple, an exquisite temple dedicated to Radhaji, in a big way.  

 People gather in large numbers at Shriji Temple and Laddus ( are thrown at them among colors, songs and dances. They have lots of fun and accept the sweets as a blessing with devotion. People offer flowers on the idols of Lord Shri Krishna and Radhaji remembering with pleasure when Krishnaji played Holi with Radhaji and showered her with flowers. It is not that Holi is all about fun! It also transmits a serious message. The colors used during the celebration are natural, made from flowers to avoid any harm. Shriji Temple Holi in Barsana is most famous.
